The Quran is God's direct word transmitted through the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him ﷺ) to humanity.
When the wife of the Prophet was asked about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, she described him as 'a walking Quran'. As Muslims we look up to him as the best person to embody the teachings of the Quran, and we strive to emulate him.
Various narrations (hadith singular, ahadith plural) have been compiled about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to help provide us an insight into how he lived the Quran. These narrations have undergone rigorous analyses and evaluations by specialists over the years to classify their narrations by strength of authenticity.
